"Lampada, as its title suggests, is the fruit of an investigation of the theme of vision, of the need to probe, to penetrate, and go beyond the superficial appearance of things and people in order to reveal their most authentic essence. It is worth pointing out that in the history of philosophy the lamp has a particular significance, in that it alludes to an anecdote about Diogenes going around in the daytime with a lantern. When asked what he was doing he replied: «I am looking for a human being»".
