Verticale, 1991 (1992)

copper, paper, watercolor, glass, gold
132.5 x 75 x 106 cm
(Ad Opera) the verticals of Remo Salvadori
"In the end
ceasing to think that it is visible to the gaze
the unheard-of moment
Listen
angel bathed
constrained by light
in the triple disk
of red of yellow of blue
And
observed observing
reader of the ellipse
in the 500,000 km /sec
open cuts of time
the verticals."
(Bruno Corà, typewritten text attached to the exhibition press release, 1992)
The polarity on the edge
"Verticale reprised a cylindrical glass form resting on a sheet of paper, outlining a portion painted in blue watercolor; on its edge, the artist created a polarity with the application of a small square and a small golden circle"
(Laura Conconi, Maria Corti, "Chronology", in Remo Salvadori, ed. Antonella Soldaini [Milan: Skira, 2025], 268)
